The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs is a division for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Their website provides an overview of the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals, as well as targets and indicators for each SDG and updates on progress for each SDG. They also provide news articles about each SDG and related topics. This information will be helpful when creating the matrix of the connections between the UN’s SDGs and London community recovery framework indicators.

Statistics Canada’s site on the two-year update on social and economic impacts of COVID-19 in Canada is a helpful resource, as it provides a timeline of the different impacts. The website provides detailed reports on the pandemic’s effects on health, public safety, population demographics, inflation, the labour market, workplace inequalities, and more, all of which are connected to the UN SDGs.
This is the official website for the City of London, Ontario which provides information on the effects of COVID-19 on the city of London and its effects on city services. There is also a subpage that provides information on the London Community Recovery Framework, as well updates regarding its progress. This information will be helpful when analyzing how different SDGs are associated with each indicator and when identifying the areas in need of improvement, allowing us to come up with appropriate action plans that align with the UN SDGs.
SDG Cities is a community project that supports the integration of the UN’s SDGs in Guelph and London. SDG Cities works to increase the awareness of SDGs and provides ideas on how they can be incorporated into these cities to create change. This will be helpful when coming up with action plans for indicators of the London community recovery framework.

This initiative has worked on the integration of SDGs in companies to create societal and environmental change. Their website contains information on how different cities around the world have implemented the UN’s SDGs, as well as their future plans. This will be helpful when coming up with action plan ideas for London.
This website examines each SDG, as well as targets for each goal. They provide resources for schools to educate students about the use of SDGs, as well as resources for businesses on how to support and contribute to the SDGs. They also provide day-to-day action items that individuals can partake in to make a change. This will be helpful when coming up with action plans appropriate and feasible for the London community.
The International Science Council is a non-governmental organization that creates a collective of natural and social science sources to act as a global voice for science. They work to bring together scientific knowledge and resources to create action on scientific and public issues. Some publications the council has collected are about SDGs, their interactions with each other, and implementation plans. This will be helpful when examining the connections between SDGs for the creation of the matrix, as well as for coming up with appropriate action plans for London.
Brookings is a non-profit organization that conducts research with the goal of solving societal issues at a local, national, and global scale. Part of their research covers the SDGs and the progress that has been made in their implementation. One report specifically looked at how SDG implementation affected city priorities and processes, as well as how to accelerate the progress of these goals. This will be helpful when creating action plans, as we will be able to see the effects of SDG implementation in other cities and suggest methods of improvement for London.
